The surfaces of your cabochons and the cuff link cup should preferably meet without gaps.

Dichro Findings strongly recommends the use of a high strength, waterproof, epoxy resin adhesive for glueing your chosen cabochons to the cuff link cup. It is adviseable to roughen the surface of the cuff link cup with sand/emery paper before applying the adhesive to ensure good adhesion between your cabochons and the cup.
