The surfaces of your cabochons and the pendant cup should preferably meet without gaps.

Dichro Findings strongly recommends the use of a high strength, waterproof, epoxy resin adhesive for glueing your chosen cabochons to the pendant cup. It is adviseable to roughen the surface of the pendant cup with sand paper before applying the adhesive to ensure good adhesion between your cabochons and the cup.
