The surfaces of your cabochons and the necklace cup should preferably meet without gaps.
Dichro Findings strongly recommends the use of a high strength, waterproof, epoxy resin adhesive for glueing your chosen cabochons to the necklace cups. It is adviseable to roughen the surface of the cabochons with sand paper before applying the adhesive to ensure good adhesion between your cabochons and the cups.
